Hi - just wondering if anyone has any advice - we have just bought a terraced house in Waltham Forest, Victorian, I think about 1900, and are trying to do some restoration of original features. It seems though, that everyone we talk to about installing a fireplace, wants us to get a wood burning stove. We have had 4 quotes, all giving conflicting information about getting the chimney lined, whether we need to, whether it would be possible, and I just can't get a clear answer from anyone. Has anyone else had this problem? Or do you have anyone that you would recommend in the area to install a real fuel fireplace?
