Sash window hardware

I need to choose my hardware for my sash windows that are being refurbished. I've been given a brochure from Ventrolla but there's not much choice - wondering if they do more than what's in there - so not too sure what to go for.

If you have sash windows what hardware have you gone for and how has it been for you?

try googling traditional window furniture - there are a number of companies out there doing it - or you could even try for salvaged ones on Ebay.

Thanks bilbodog. I was wondering more about what kind of fasteners to have as Ventrolla have said there are quite a few to choose from. For example, is a brighton fastener more traditional? Are the arm sash fasteners easier to use? Thanks if anyone can help further.
