Painting interiors - okay to start now?

Daft question, sure, but is this an okay time to get the painters in? Or is it called spring cleaning for a reason? We have a bit of damp to contend with too, so is this best left for a known dry season? That said, when is it ever dry, as it can tip down in April/May?

One painter delayed an outside job on the garage as it is 'too wet'.

Might be worth waiting until the days are a bit longer. Better quality of light means better painting ime. No reason why you couldn't get someone booked in if you are not doing it yourself.

outdoor painting, and indoor windowframes, needs dry weather, preferably warm. Your house is probably warm and dry inside so you can paint the walls and ceilings anytime. Do not try to paint anything that is damp from condensation.
