Does anyone one have a full counter width sink?

Like astrocast bistro or rangemaster mezzo.

I'm wondering if they butt right up to the counter or overlap. I'm after slate as a worktop and fancy a clunky chunky sink and it will save significantly on slate cutting/joins. etc but I want it to look seamless as possible. Will I have a tiny gap?

I've got slate worktops and an astracast Canterbury. It overhangs a bit at the front.

Sorry. Just seen your pic. Ours is ceramic rather than steel so perhaps not relevant

Princess thanks for the reply, that helps as it's the same idea. Is there a space each side or is there silicone or something? Also are you pleased with the slate?

you need pigletjohn, he has an astracast bistro, he's mentioned it a few times I think

Yeah I think he gave me the idea! Where is he?!?

Here, it's great, look it up, goes right to the wall, no worktop under it.

Though the sink is not as big as you might have thought it would be.

You can put it on a 1000mm unit and butt other units up against it.

Catering/industrial sinks are also available that do the same thing.

Thanks pigletJ I'm looking at the rangemaster mezzo as it's half the price of the bistro. It looks pretty similar although I can't see either in real life where I live. All the kitchen people say it's old fashioned but I'm not too bothered about that. My mum had one and she still mourns it years later. It has to be very hygienic which is a big plus.
