Bosch dishwasher flooded my kitchen - can anyone help?

Power cut in the house yesterday, as I went downstairs to investigate found bubbles and water flooding my utility room from the dishwasher. It's only just over a year old and under guarantee. However, when I called them they said if it's something I have done wrong then a £95 call out fee will apply. Normally the kids load the dishwasher and it has got me wondering if they have done something wrong anyhow I have checked the filter and it's clear. Anyone got any suggestions of anything else I can check before booking a call? Really want to avoid an unnecessary call out charge if it's something we have done.

it's unusual for a modern dishwasher to flood. They tend to have a tray underneath to catch drips, with a float switch to turn the machine off if the tray fills up; and often an extra-fat filling hose with a sort of box on the end, which is a valve that shuts if a leak is detected. If you open the door when it is running the pump and the valves shut down.

The water inlet valve is electrically operated, and can only open if there is electric power to pull it open.

No one was working in the street. The appliance flooding caused the electric to trip . There is no power at all to the dishwasher now as presumably the fuse has blown. There's water still in there as well. Bosch engineer calling next week - an all date wait thank you for your replies
