We are looking at having a new bathroom this year and would like a spa bath plus OH is wondering about a toilet/ bidet combined. Any one got any recommendations? He's tall so are looking for a longer and possibly a wider bath other than that no ideas. Thanks

I don't think you can get a combined toilet/bidet without complicated plumbing and a break tank, due to water regulations about contamination of pipes. A Muslim plumber will be more familiar with the idea, but might offer a non-compliant device.

Some people dislike spa baths because they hold dirty water and scabs, hair and toenails in the pipes and pump, ready for the next user.

Eeeewww you make that sound so appealing - NOT !!

Thanks Pigletjohn. I'll have to do a bit of research on the bidet thing. Same with the spa although there is only two of us

Toto make the definitve shower toilet, but very expensive. What about a handheld shower douche thingy, if no separate bidet?

Thank you Apatite, I'll show OH the link.

product that apatite linked to is very good!

You're welcome sunny. And glad you think it's good Gozo, we are probably getting it. Takes up a lot less space than a bidet, which always look a bit old fashioned to me. This will tuck away in the corner and still ensure a squeaky clean bum Grin
