One radiator not working

Anyone got any thoughts on this? We've just moved into a new place and all the radiators work fine except for one. It's stone cold, while the others are all blasting away.

I've had a look at the valve on the base, removing the little white plastic cap and using pliers to make sure it is all the way open. No effect. What else could it be? My 7-yr-old son would appreciate your answers, as his is the unfortunate bedroom.

You might need to bleed it if it's full of air. You loosen a screw with an Allen radiator key until the air starts hissing out, tighten again when water starts coming out. Have an old towel handy for drips.

Think you can buy radiator key in a hard ware shop :)

Turn all other radiators in house off when heating is on. If there is a blockage it might force the water through this radiator. Worked for me recently (advice from plumber).

Marking spot - I have this problem, and my dd would like it resolved! Smile
