My elderly mum is interested in selling her bungalow and moving into a retirement apartment nearer to me. But the retirement apartments only become available occasionally. We can register her interest but then if one came up she would need to move more or less straight away. How can we possibly manage that when she would have to sell the bungalow first? This just seems impossible. What do people do?
