Arty commuter places?

Exploring moving at the moment. Looking for a commutable arty/creative type town/village to London. Commute up to an hour. Maybe slightly more for right place. Have £700k max. Need 3 bed min. Have 2 children. Where would you recommend?! TIA x

Goldsmiths area (new cross) is extremely "arty". Telegraph hill, brockley, honor oak, crofton park out to crystal palace are where the students settle, so more grown up arty and family orientated. Should get a decent 3 bed + for 700k.

11 minute commute to Central London :)

Definitely look at Whitstable.

Whitstable is teeny tiny though....
