Additional radiators and plug sockets - how big a job?

Does anyone know how much work might be involved in installing additional new radiators and plug sockets? Would the (wooden) flooring have to be lifted to lay new pipes/extend existing ones?

I've no real idea whats involved or how disruptive or expensive it might be, any tips from those who've done something similar gratefully received.

Yes. Pipes would have to be extended. The floor would have to come up. Installing bigger radiators in the same positions is easier. Additional sockets are not too difficult if you just want more sockets in existing locations. New locations involve the walls being chiselled out for the new wires and the making good of that, then redecoration. Changing sockets to doubles or quadruples is much easier.

Milly - thanks. Sounds like its going to be quite full on as it would be new locations for both. Sigh.
