loft conversion companies in London/Kent?

Really hope that someone can help as am very confused and getting nowhere at the moment! We're in SE London, and we want to do a loft conversion on our small-ish terraced house, but the quotes we've had so far have ranged from £30k - £50k plus.

A company recommended by neighbours have said they would do it for £35k and we were all set to go with them when they let us down at the last minute.

Has anyone got any personal recommendation as to specialist loft conversion companies in the South East London/Kent area? TAI!

I had my loft converted by these builders. It was in North London but they seemed to work in South London too. I did a two floor loft conversion so was more expensive but I found them reasonable and did a good job.
