Hi all,

can anyone recommend a good and professional snagging company?

we are due to move into a new build next month and want to get the snagging done by someone that specializes in new builds and hopefully someone recommended.

I can't recommend anyone I'm afraid but maybe a builder you trust or comes recommended?

From experience in this field, make sure everything is logged that needs doing and follow it up religiously - the developer won't come looking for jobs.

You wouldn't be a 19th Dec completion, by any chance?

Doesn't your new build builder sort out your snag list?

They will inspect it prior to handover and anything major is usually notified and, if there is enough time, rectified. However, sometimes time is of the essence and things aren't done so do document anything that needs doing, however small.

Supposed to be the 19th but postponed now. Is this a common end of year completion date ?
Yes builder will snag it but have decided to get it done by a professional from our side too

EOY for several developers is Dec 31st - 19th is last working day - all about balance sheets.

Tends to be rather a mad rush to get various plots finished, so postponement may not be a bad thing - no rushed last minute jobs/cleans.
