Block paving ball park figure?

It's probably a job for next year really but I'm just wondering how much a squared meter is block paving? Our front garden is about 6 meter sq so not much and nothing fancy, just grey blocks. I'm wondering if I can convince the hubby but I havnt a clue of a rough estimate.

We are in the north.

We are in the south and had our drive block paved last year. It was using 60mm blocks in a fairly straightforward pattern. The area was 17.5 metre squ. Total costs including removal of gravel, excavations, ground prep and laying of blocks was £1800 plus VAT. Hope that helps.
