We are in the process of getting kitchen quotes for our new kitchen extension and recently had a free design visit from Next. I really liked the kitchen and the rep spent a great deal of time working with us on a layout. What I didn't expect was the real hard sell at the end of the visit with an expectation that we would pay a 'non refundable deposit' there and then. I could sense he was getting a little annoyed that we wouldn't commit and he used all his best salesman tactics to change our minds. Is this the norm? The quote has come out at the very top of our budget and as we are only at the start of the pricing process there is no way I would commit at this stage.
TBH the hard sell 'buy it now or I can't guarantee the price threat'has put me off a bit but maybe I should expect this. Has anyone any opinions or experience of Next kitchens? Are they any good?
TIA
