Karndean / Harvey Maria - in bedrooms?

Obviously not stone effect but I was thinking about wood effect. All of our family have asthma, dust allergy or both, so looking for something that is easy to vacuum & mop.
I considered laminate but vinyl seems a bit less - rigid - under foot. I can't really explain what I mean...budget won't run to marmoleum through whole house though that would have been ideal.

So what do you think?

We have karndean in one bedroom, and amtico in another. I love it for hygiene and it looks great (both are a sort of white wood effect).

Karndean is sort of laminated, though - not really typical vinyl so quite rigid. Other than that, why not.

Yeah why not? I am having to replace a carpet in my bedroom for the second time in 6 years due to kids muddy footprints, etc and will be going for something non carpet. so much easier to clean and I have suffered from asthma and never think you can get all the dust up properly like you can with other surfaces.
