An Ebola house in the Highlands or Wales ...

or possibly the north of England.

I want to buy a remote house for my family. Somewhere we could go and sit things out if Ebola takes hold in the UK.

I plan to basically furnish it and then stock the cupboards and freezer with pasta, jam. tinned food, packet foods, flour, rice, sugar, dried egg and meat in the freezer. I would also buy seeds: parsley, lettuce, rocket, spinach greens, so it would need to have at least a small amount of garden and a greenhouse would be good so we aren't

I have £100,000 to spend. I won't be using the infrastructure, so you needn't worry about schools, access to jobs and leisure facilities.

Christ on a fucking bike! Is this for real? How will you reach this house in the zombie apocalypse? And, being a hillbilly myself, how will you evict the likes of me in said apocalypse once you arrive there and find others have got there first, and brought guns? This has to be funniest thing I ever read.

Grey was always for battleships

Will evict wearing a bio hazard suit holding a cordless angle grinder for the locks. Will then go on to tell you fruit bats are nesting in your chimney and you have to leave. Once out the door .........

I'll be booby trapping the place. I'm watching the Home Alone films for ideas.

I'll be getting a gun in any case but I was thinking of having it as a means of frightening Scottish Nationalists. I hadn't really considered competing Ebola apocalypse venturers.

Just as well I've started the planning early. There's an awful lot to think about.
