We are doing up a house at the moment and I have carpet people coming tomorrow to measure up and quote for stair carpet and two bedrooms, but I need to decide what sort of carpets to go for and the colours.
The colour scheme throughout the house is white walls and light grey woodwork, so doors, banisters, skirting boards etc. Both of the bedroom carpets are kids rooms so need to be not too pale really, and I suppose reasonably hard wearing. Do we just stick with grey and add colour with accessories etc?
And we want the stair carpet to be a traditional runner with stair rods, do we need special stair carpet for this or will they just bind whatever we choose?
