can anyone recommend a good nail-and-screw holder? Hoping for something max 60cm broad, max 30 - 35 deep and max 50 deep with lots of compartments.

Lots of screws up to 20mm, several lots of screws 30mm+, a few sets of nails that are 40mm +. some nuts and hooks and so on.

have looked and looked and looked but struggling to find somethign that can hold it all.

Aldi have them from time to time, the most recent ones I got have movable dividers, so you could have (e.g.) six very big partitions, or sixty very small ones.

Look at the lid fasteners carefully. A box full of screws is very heavy, and when you drop it, they may all burst out over the floor. An ordinary Tupperware lid is not secure. Also get flexible plastic, not hard acrylic which will crack or break.

they might be called organisers
Get several all the same and they will stack without toppling. You need a carry handle.

Thanks a lot!

seriously helpful, we have a very small shed we can't afford to expand and do quite a lot of diy.

Clas Ohlsen do some good ones. I have an upright one from there, very strong.

We've got several of the Stanley stackable ones. They're small enough to move about when doing diy but they stack together to save space. We got ours on offer in b&q. Really recommend them.
