the fun starts here! You need a solicitor if you don't have one already, that is first priority as searches need to be kicked off. Get quotes from reallymoving.com. Solicitors should turn documents round in two days at most.

you also need to arrange the survey.

everyone needs regular chasing, especially if you want to move before Christmas.

Couldn't agree more on the chasing. Every sale I've had I've had to chase stuff, it's very frustrating!

Solicitors chosen and instructed and have received email copy of our notice of sale which I have forwarded on to solicitor.

Arghhhhhhhhh I'm wondering how long this will all take. We are getting our mortgage through L&C

A lot of it will depend on your survey and what may show up and if you need to get quotes for works etc, which hopefully you won't.

Hopefully very little as it's a 9 year old house...

I hope your good at making a nuisance of yourself, because that is what your going to have to do. I have bought 6 properties over the years and I think that they ( Solicitors and Estate agents) are the worst they have ever been. Last move was last April. Best of luck.
