Should we take off the market over winter?

Our house has been on the market since the start of august, the contract with our current agent will come to an end mid-November. We want to change agent anyway but just can't decide whether to do it straight away or take it off the market until January. We are moving in the meantime so if we do it straight away the house will still be furnished but will be empty mid-jan onwards.
What would you do?

keep it on if you want to sell it? We looked at our house in October and moved in at the end of January. I know people think there is a season to sell/buy but that is crap, if people want to buy they will what ever time of year it is!

exactly. 10 mins on the internet will reveal it has previously been up for sale, anyway.

We weren't thinking of it in order to hide that it's been on the market, more to appear in rightmove alerts etc at a time when there should be more people looking/registering.
We aren't getting much in the way of viewings at the moment anyway. Sad

I'd leave it, we sold our last house on 18th December!

I'd leave it. We made the mistake of taking ours off the market over summer - which seemed to be the main buying season around here. Since going back on the market we haven't had a single viewing. You never know when the right person will turn up.

We put offer in at end of Nov, moved in end of Jan so another here saying keep it on!

We've just started looking for our first house now, season hasn't bothered us!
