Does an off white skirting board look OK ?

Just deciding on colours in the loft extension. The walls are F&B pointing. Should I match the skirting boards, or do them white? I am not thinking of buying. F&&B for th SBs but maybe colour matching with Dulux. Or maybe plain old White would look better.
Pointing is an off white, looks a little oysterish, not v yellow. Very attractive IMO. Thanks for any suggestions.

If the walls are pointing don't colour match as will be a poor copy next to the genuine article. Don't use a brilliant white against any F&B colour as it will be harsh as brilliant white contains blue pigment. Go for a trade white instead and no gloss as it looks naff against your chalky walls.

I've got Wimborne White wood everywhere I think it goes with most F&B colours. TBH I'd agree with whats and go for trade white though.

I have actually used the estate emulsion elephants breath with pbw dulux eggshellon my woodwork and I have to say it goes really well... Looks clean but the dullness/flatness of the elephants breath really tones down the pbw

I will experiment though and use Wimborne White eggshell with elephants breath in the hallway
