Is the paint wet or dry?

MummytoMog · 14/10/2014 15:53

Wipe first if wet, if dry, try scrubbing with a dry scourer. I've had success with ammonia before now, but depends on what your blind is made of.

the paint dry and made of fabric and its cream/white the paint the same colour

If the blind is made of curtain fabric rather than the usual blind fabric theres not much you can do about it unfortunately. If its the usual stiff blind fabric a rub with a damp nail brush might help.

new blinds are a lot less than £90 - try Wilkinsons.

Kewcumber · 14/10/2014 17:24

Wait to dry and shave it off with a rasor

If it was painted recently (within last 12 hours or so), water (maybe with a bit of soap) will help.

LIZS · 14/10/2014 19:33

Isn't the blind sprung so you can squeeze it at the non roller end to dislodge (like a loo roll holder). Agree they are about £10-20 each max in wilkos or argos

Kerberos · 14/10/2014 19:41

If none of that works just make sure the painty bit is hidden in a roll when you have viewings?

Methylated spirit softens emulsion paint so you can scrub it off with WUL.
