Reflective stuff for windows?

I think I'm going to go for this- how easy is it to fit? I'm not a practical person but would have a go.

And any tips on if it's any good? Anything to avoid? Is it a film or sticky?

I will be interested also- just bought some film to put on a bathroom window
:)

I put film on a window once, it was for a bathroom window, messed it up the first time and ended up with loads of air bubbles, my advice, which I'm sure is obvious, is just take your time and keep smoothing it out. I have a vague memory of using a damp sponge on it?

IME the sticky stuff is very hard to use, much easier with the static foil.

Can't use on either sort on HR double glazing though, just on the off chance you have that.

I don't have HR windows, which is lucky! Where did you get your film from? The stuff I want isn't frosted and not colorised at all- just the mirrored stuff ( but not silver!)

Mine was from a garden centre of all places. They had loads of rolls.
