A good friend wants an Aga. One of the new fangled electric total control ones.

I'm confused by the whole thing and want to understand.

Anyone got one of the new total control ones and do they work well and how do you cook on them.

Sorry. Forgot to add my friend wants to convince her husband and she wants me to help her do so.

So I need to understand what it does etc.

I'll ask my friend who has one & get back to you tomorrow if no one better comes along!

We've got the old sort too. The chap who services it tells me that the news ones are great and only cost £5/week to run (compared to £17/week).

Would be a bonus to be able to control temperatures rather than faffing around with levels and positioning and cold plates etc (can hear dh doing just that in the background!). Still love my old one though.

Tell her to look at Everhot's instead.. Much better but same concept!

I'm pretty sure you don't get electric everhots that you can switch on and off when you need to
