Hello,

Hoping a Bollington resident might be able to help!
Looking at buying in the village, which secondary school do children from the area go to? We are hoping for Tytherington but not sure if this is how it would work. Sorry to sound so vague, have lived abroad for a while and not sure how secondary school works...also would love some info on how the school bus thing works too.

Yippee! Thank you RCheshire. Really hard doing things remotely lol.
Really like the look of Bollington, seems to have a good rental market. Looking to do a buy to let and then move in when we come back from Germany. Will only have DDs sixth form and will finally be school free!

Has Tytherington got a good name for itself? We are also thinking of moving to Bollington from Australia this year. Which is the best primary school in that area? Plus is Bollington in the Fallibroome catchment area. Sorry to just jump into this convo univited!!

Tytherington has a good rather than great reputation. Fallibroome is more highly rated and Bollington is not in catchment.

Bollington has a selection of secular and religious primary schools some of which are highly rated. Prestbury is the best performing primary in that area but Bollington is well outside the cachment.
