Where to live? Bartholomew catchment, need transport links, good community, peaceful, walk to baisc shops. Wondering about eynsham itself. Any thoughts?

That sounds a pretty good description of Eynsham itself.

It's a lovely place to live.
(Long-time resident though no longer, sadly)

Good to hear! Just need to find a house and think about the commute. Hmm.

Ah yes... The infamous Oxford traffic and ring road?
I used to commute to Cowley. Generally took 45 mins to do 11 miles. Could be longer. In school holidays less than 20 minutes each way.

On houses, go and see Mervyn at Abbey Properties. He's sold most of the houses in the village over the years and has great local knowledge. Similarly Chris at the letting agent next door.

Enjoy! Envy

Super village, I loved living there
