Thinking of looking to rent / buy a property in Farnham,

DS1 (13) needs to be able to walk to and from the station on his own. We don't need to worry about state catchments.

Don't know the area where would be good to look?

That really depends on your budget. I would say within a 20 min walk to the station you're looking at anywhere between £300k and over £1m.

I would say most convenient is on the South side of the A31.
