PIL are giving us their summer house, which is currently in their garden, as they don't need it anymore. They have found someone to dismantle, relocate and rebuild it at the end of our garden. It is about 16 x 16 feet square, and that includes a 3 feet deep verandah. It looks a bit like this
I have no idea what to do with it inside or outside, so looked at Houzz for inspiration. But the ideas on there were for either garden sheds or along the lines of elaborate libraries with things like wood burners.
Can anyone inspire me as to how to do it out inside? I am good at copying a design but useless at coming up with anything! We have 2 DC (6 and 2 yo boys), and I would like it to be something we could all enjoy being in, but I don't want it to be a playroom. They already have a wooden swing/slide/house in the garden and a playroom in the house, so I feel that it shouldn't be purely given over to them.
We intend running electricity to it, but it won't have plumbing. We are also putting a new roof on it.
