Antique Brass Kitchen Handles

I need a few opinions on kitchen handles, I keep changing my mind but we need to order the kitchen next week so really need to decide.

The kitchen is an off white painted inframe shaker with oak worktops and a Belfast sink. We're not having wall units except for a plate rack and some open shelves, I want it to look quite minimal, not country cottagey.

I definitely want a mix of cup handles and plain round knobs. I originally liked steel, then pewter but now I love the look of antique brass or copper handles and tap.

Handles a bit like this www.plainenglishdesign.co.uk/spitalfields-3

Not sure if I go with brass or copper if I'll regret it and think should have got steel.

there's quite a big choice here at good prices

Thanks, I might use that site for door handles too. I've found a few online sites with nice taps and kitchen handles, just need to make my mind up on the colour!

try catches and latches. They have cup handles for £1.50 I have them in antique pewter in my kitchen and I got a samplw from them and went into Harvey Jones to compare...exactly them same for a f3action of the price Smile

I think the brass looks good with that grey, can you try it out with your off-white to see if you like the look? Look at the door/worktop/knob all together.

I would suggest trying to get to a showroom/buying a trial knob and look at them in real life first -some of them just seem to fit your fingers better IYSWIM.

Rutlands have a lovely selection in different finishes that don't all look like they come from a world of 1990s dark oak!
