Selling a house in GE year

Thinking of moving next year. Never sold a house before but wondered if the General Election will have an impact. Will buyers be cautious, etc? Best to sell before May, or after?

If anyone has any experience or opinions I'd like to hear. Thanks.

It would never occur to me that a GE would make a difference to house selling / buying!

Ukip seem to be dictating the direction of policies of the Tories.
If we do have referendum then it will be at very least a setback for the economy in peoples minds. So maybe that would make them cautious.
Then there is the thought of ED Ballsup and sidekick Wallace taking charge of the economy, that would have anyone with an IQ running for cover.

I'm hoping it won't make a difference annoyed!

Sheep get spooked as do Politicians . 29 billion of cuts announced today. Many public sector cuts and welfare too. Miliband forgot the deficit and the economy at their rally. Yeah I know it inspires confidence in me too, it's the recovery don't ya know Grin
