Would starting a loft conversion in mid October be stupid?

i.e, cold and wet possibly, probably running into Christmas

Would it be better to wait until spring? Please share your experiences!

No! We started ours in October and it was finished by Xmas. Never felt cold. Go for it.

You might find the good builders have more time to fit you in at this time of year. If you are ready, might as well get started.
