Ceiling monkey bars from Joists

I want to do ceiling hung monkey bars between the joists like here ww1.hdnux.com/photos/12/26/05/2711932/6/628x471.jpg but I'm not sure how best to hang the bars or where to get bars strong enough. We have the ceiling currently off and are about to plasterboard it, so it's a good time to do it. I was thinking we need brackets similar to how you hang a coat rail (so almost like horseshoe shape). Maybe broom handle wood but not sure if it will strong enough for an eight year old. Would love to hear any ideas for best way to do this. Thanks!

please measure the width and depth of the joists under the floor above. Also their length, and the distance between them.

I reckon all the old geriatrics should have them fitted in their bungalows
Statistically you are less fit without a staircase.

In fact one may after measuring my beams and the width between here and the kettle order some Grin
