kitchen unit to house 2 single ovens

We are looking at new kitchens for when we move into our new home and we would like two single ovens at mid/eye level stacked on top of one another in a tall unit. We were thinking of getting the units from diy-kitchens but they don't seem to have such units. They only seem to have double ovens / single oven and microwave units. Has anyone got two single ovens as described and where did you get your kitchen? Thanks :)

You need to work out the height of your 2 ovens and what will be left over for doors from a standard tall unit. Presumably one will be under worktop level and one above worktop level, or the top one will be too high. So you want a standard tall single oven unit, and instead of the lower door, move the shelf down to make the right size gap, and order the trim panel or drawer that normally goes under a single oven base unit. Does that make any sense at all Grin?

DIY kitchens are quite flexible and you can add extra doors/drawers/shelves as single items to your order.

Kitchen units are just chipboard with doors. There is nothing to stop you customising them or swapping bits around, except kitchen companies that only want to sell you a limited selection off the shelf.

make sure that you don't built the top oven in too tall - when you raise your arms above shoulder height you loose a considerable amount of strength! So mock it up And check it will be safe for the smaller cook ( if more than one of you who cooks )
if you speak with them
on the phone they will help you choose the right combination of doors/ drawer/ shelf And fronts etc

We couldn't get a 'normal' company to do a ready made unit but as someone says you can hack them up. We have gone for 2 side by side.

I've got this combination with a neff slide n'hide door oven at the top to avoid the access issues.
Ours is a hand built kitchen by a joiner so it was built to suit our requirements.
I have a small cupboard above (store mixer/breadmaker etc up here)& a deep drawer below (oven trays, wire racks etc)
