We have just had a shower room put in our new house. It is a largeish room as it was the smallest bedroom- it is a narrow rectangle with the door at one end of the long wall and a large sash window on the far away short wall.
The long wall as you go in the door has a large all glass shower cubicle and the toilet further down the wall from that. The opposite long wall has an edwardian style basin on the old chimney breast.
The long wall with the shower and toilet and the chimney breast have white metro tiles with 2 black rows of metro tiles- one about a quarter way fro bottom and one a quarter way from top- and the floor is a very dark slatey grey/almost black vinyl.
The 2 short walls and the long wall on either side of the chimney breast and the ceiling need painted (spotlights in ceiling).
I have no idea what to go for- pale gray? very dark gray? green/blue? old white type?
Should I do the ceiling the same as the walls?
The room faces west.
The ceilings are quite high as it is an old house.
Throw some F&B colour ideas at me please (though we may get the colour matched depending on how many pennies are in the piggybank when we have paid the plumbers).
The rest of the house it quite bold colours/period (eating room red and pointing in main rooms downstairs, pointing type colour and grey green in kitchen/old bathroom etc).
sorry for the ramble.
