Anyone bought oak fire doors?

We're having a loft extension and have to replace all our doors with fire doors. To make it less grim I am going for oak doors ( in reality oak veneer). I m finding out it s quite hard to determine price as joinery places don t quote prices to buyers, you have to go via your builder and he needs an account. Our builder quoted £220 per door, today I went over to Howdens and squeezed a rough quote of £160+VAT out of them. But I couldn't even see the doors as they were all wrapped up and stacked on top of each other.
If anyone can share their experience and recommend a retailer/ particular for I' d appreciate it. Thanks!

Just resurrecting this to say thanks to Nootychoo, we got door from Todd Doors and I am very pleased with them. They look good . I now realise the ones left by previous owner were screamingly ugly. As a home decoration novice I never thought doors could make such a difference.Todd's maybe not the most convenient for deliveries (2 of the doors took longer to deliver, and they only do London on a Monday apparently) but overall v pleased.

We just bought solid oak (not veneer) Mexicana fire doors from Magnet Trade and I think they on offer at 119+VAT.

Delighted with them!
