Annie Sloan on kitchen cupboards

Anyone used Annie Sloan to revamp their kitchen cupboards? I'm interested to hear how it turned out. I've used it successfully on pine bedroom furniture but obviously that doesn't get nearly as bashed about as kitchen units! All our kitchen doors are falling off so I'm thinking of going for a shabby chic, open shelving look. We really can't afford a whole new kitchen so it'll be a DIY job unfortunately.

Lovely as it is, I don't think it is suitable. It is tricky to clean and would scratch and chip pretty quickly IMHO.

I've only used it for bedroom furniture. I recently bought a second hand table that was painted with it but I'm going to have to paint over with something else as it looks a bit ropey and scratches when bashed with chair legs etc.

I wouldn't. Have a look at General Finishes Milk Paint instead.

Dulux cupboard paint is awesome.

Thanks. Will have a look at those suggestions.
