We are thinking about moving out of London - stupid house prices, dirty air etc mean that we want to be closer to the countryside but still in a big enough town for commuting into London
Our family are S London so moving north is not optional as we see them a lot and wish to maintain that.
So we stumbled across east grinstead. Oxted and surrounding parts are too expensive and we are not ready for village life!
So can anyone tell me about east grinstead? Schools (primary and secondary), nice parts, places to avoid? Activities for children (e.g sports clubs etc)?
I've seen the odd thread on this before but I think some people sent PMs so I couldn't see all the detail.
