Free loft insulation in London

Has anyone had their loft insulated for free in London and, if so, which company did it?

We moved half a mile up the road a couple of months ago and, in our old house, used to be inundated with people coming to the door offering government-funded free loft insulation.

Been waiting for them to come here and not a single knock!

I was wondering if I could contact a company directly and if so which one?

I don't know about Central London specifically but have you tried British gas? There's an online form on their website which you fill in and it'll assess whether you're eligible.
