Bohen bathrooms - give me your thoughts, good and bad.

We have finally got the money together to replace our bathroom. We moved in just under 2 years ago and I am desperate for a bathroom of my very own choosing.

My favourite retailer so far is Bohen. Am considering having them project manage the whole thing. Both DH and I work long hours and would be stretched to pull together all relevant trades. Paying for the easy option has been budgeted for.

So, has anyone used Bohen and can share their experience (good or bad). Opinions on other bathroom retailers would also be appreciated.

It's sexed-up Plumbase but with a more limited range. Our local bathroom showroom, which I used a lot, was re-branded as Bohen and refitted. It's been an absolute nightmare. The knowledgeable and experienced staff have left and you hardly see anyone in there any more it's like a graveyard.

Admittedly it wasn't helped by changes of higher level company personnel and many changes of policy, so perhaps we encountered the worst of the changes and it put us off. I have to say we haven't bought anything from them since the change, so I can't give a definitive answer from experience, just that having taken our business elsewhere now, I am not at all tempted to return.

Your best bet would be to search for reviews from your local area and see how customers have got on, or failing that ask the showroom near you to provide some references. Failing that, contact some local install only contractors and ask what their opinion would be if your new bathroom was designed and supplied from this company.
