Hi, I posted last week about us relocating and we were looking at Cheshire I got some great advice and have a lovely little list of places we want to spend some time and look at.
We have since been thinking that we should really look at the Wirral too as a few people keep saying how nice it is so I am hoping for some advice on where is good to look at.
Key points are
Schools, we have a 10 year old son who is starting year 6 in September we will be moving after they have already started this current year so oversubscribed schools will probably be out for us. High school ideally a really nice comp, can't afford private and we aren't looking at grammar schools.
250-300k budget for 3+ bedrooms, at the moment we are in a large 4 bed detached with big gardens and driveway. House prices here are lower so I realise we will probably need to downsize.
We live in a small town at the moment on the outskirts so in the countryside a bit and are looking for something similar but nothing that would leave our son bored when he becomes a teenager or us as a taxi service anytime he wants to go somewhere.
DH will be working in Ellesmere Port and ideal commute will be around 30-45 mins but at a push would do an hour max
I would really appreciate any help or advice you could give, I feel all confused with areas and Ofsted reports!
