showers do go wrong this badly, although surprised you didn't turn it off sooner to stop so much water getting out. The shower will certainly need replacing.

landlord probably won't be able to get help until tomorrow. It might be an idea to turn off the electricity IF you don't have anything in the fridge or freezer. If you do, not a lot you can do. Obviously don't use wet sockets.

has the toilet been fixed? Leaks do happen, the important thing is that the landlord repairs them properly.

if you are not locked into a contract and want to give notice, do so. You need to give a month's notice to expire on the day you normally pay the rent.
