Using an instore design service

We have been in our house a year and feel it needs a make over from previous owners decor. The rooms don't really flow design wise with different colour schemes in each room. I'm rubbish at interior design and don't really have an eye for detail. Was thinking of using an on store design service such as John Lewis or Marks and Spencer or Debenhams. Has anyone used one and can recommend?

I used John lewis for our new extension and it was v helpful. I didn't have to pay.
