Conservatory to a playroom

We have a conservatory which i want to change to playroom. I think it might be too cold in the winter so does anyone have any advice on keeping the room warmer. We have a radiator, going to carpet with double underlay, a couch and beanbags but not sure if we can do anything about the roof and windows. Cheers x

Hiya we use ours as a playroom too. Ours has a tiled floor with underfloor heating, sofa plus a huge rug. Unfortunately ours is glazed on 3 sides & we havent the spare cash to add blinds so it is pretty much a no go area from Nov-March, even with the underfloor heating. Of course then in June/July it can be far too hot!
If you can afford it, blinds will help, or I think you can get some special film or something to apply to the roof to help keep it warm in winter / cool in summer. Or I have seen online you can replace the roof with a lightweight tiled one. Hopefully someone else will be along with more suggestions.

You can get the glass (or some of it eg roof) replaced with special glass that keeps out some of the heat in summer and keeps it in in winter. Not cheap but definitely helps. Add some small opening windows or vents for summer ( get something you are happy to leave open if not in the room).

Otherwise lots of warm socks and jumpers!
