More modern radiators

Hi, we are getting a new boiler soon and at the same time want to replace our crappy old radiators with something more trendy, but space dictates they will have to be the same shape (I love those tall flat ones but most of ours go under windows). The man from British Gas said that "trendy" radiators don't give off as much heat. Anyone else had new radiators put in? What did you go for? Thanks.

Hudevad do flat ones in all sizes, including the traditional "landscape" sizes.

They work just as well as the old style ones IME. (Of course they are single panel so only work as well as single panel old style ones - if you have double old style ones you need to look carefully at BTU output)

We've just had Stelrad Planar double rads installed - nice flat style in a huge variety of sizes to fit lots of different locations including slim under window. Only just tested them and they seem to heat up well & their Btu numbers look good.

I've got one of those as well Mammy (just a teeny one in the loo) seems to work well.
