What vinyl flooring to go with high gloss cream kitchen units?

Hi, our kitchen is roughly 5x4 metres and the units are an off-white, creamy colour. We have quite a striking wallpaper (Orla Kiely Blue Acorn) in two of the walls so we want a plain vinyl flooring in a neutral colour. Any recommendations?

On a different issue - we have a huge freestanding fridge freezer which is currently on the hallway until our new floor is laid. I am terrified about tearing the vinyl once we put it in the kitchen. Do you have any practical tips to avoid tears? The kitchen is on a split level so we will have to negotiate one step and a tight corner. Very difficult, I know!

Are you thinking of Amtico/Karndean or sheet vinyl?

If sheet vinyl then have a look at Rhino floor, they have a pretty good range.

I am watching with interest re tips on moving your fridge freezer. When I get my kitchen done I would love vinyl flooring but I have a huge ff, tall freezer and a Miele washing machine that weighs a ton. I have no idea how you are supposed to move them into place without damaging the floor but there must be a way.

Maybe email Rhinofloor to ask their advice.

I think you can get teflon type feet somewhere- like old fashioned castors.

Spray floor with furniture polish before you move it to make it slippy was the tip we were given years ago.

Thanks for the furniture polish idea, will def give it a go! As for the ff feet, they do seem to be on castors, but it's so heavy that it could still easily rip the floor.
