Hi

Looking at moving house and have seen a house we like but it has a roof like this, with 3 separate windows coming through. like this We've always had a more traditional sort of house, so just wanted to check whether these sorts of roof are a) more expensive to reroof, when the time comes and b) whether they tend to lose tiles more easily/have more problems, since the tiles are pointing downwards at a more acute angle.

Thank you!

no, but roofers tell me it is important to have all the angles and joins made with lead sheet underneath, dressed to shape, to catch the water that comes through. Felt, mortar, flashband and rubber paint are no good. It should look very neat when finished. Look at a few and you will start to notice the difference.
