Chancel Repairs insurance

Hi I am in the process of buying a house in a village, and today found out that it has a chancel repair liability :( has anyone else had or has any experience of this I believe you can insure against a claim. Would you pull out of buying a property if you knew it had this clause? Advice welcome really don't know whether to walk away.

No, definitely don't walk away, take the insurance. I got it for my current flat and it was something like £30.

Our insurance was £22 on our three bed semi! Don't walk away!

I had this when buying my property. My insurance was £34 I think. No biggy.
