Any views? Any thoughts on which to avoid?

I have a plain white durapol which looks lovely, cleans well and hasn't stained. However, it is a little chipped on one edge which is annoying as it's been in less than a year. Was probably my fault though

Thanks Trying. I obviously need to take my own clumsiness into account then?!

Duropal is probably the best out of this list.

Thanks km your post implies there are others that are better (in the same price range?)

We have ikea, and would not recommend.. Looks nice to start with but damages very easily

Ok. Thats a shame re Ikea because I do like the design of one of their options. Good to know though, thank you.

Duropal makes various grades of laminate worktops and the worst of duropal is comparable or probably better than the best of the rest. Yes there are other makes out there but they are comparable or better than Duropal but you will generally find them only at specialist European kitchen retailers. A lot of them arent even on the open market.

Any recommendations km? Am quite prepared to do a bit of leg work to get a good quality alternative?
