Looking at houses in semi rural surrey- in small villages and hamlets. Rough area in the aonb and south of guildford-dorking down to sussex, and east-west between about haslemere and the Horsham road.
Anyway, we're looking at smallish 3 bed cottages and have found one that's asking well over £600 per sq foot!!!! We like it, although it has small garden and less storage than we'd like, but can't work out how it could possibly be worth more than £500 per sq ft.
It's in nice condition and has a fab layout which is what we like most about it. But I can't find anything similar that goes over 500 per sq ft and even fancy mansions with ground don't seem to go over 550. What could I be missing? How can an estate agent be that far out??
