Changing door handles from brass to silver colour - should ichange the brass hinges too?

The door handles are old and need to be replaced. All other internal metalwork is silver-coloured metal (lights, curtain poles , kitchen cupboard handles...) Just wondering if the brass hinges will look out of place. Any thoughts? (It's a modern house).

Yes you should. Will look silly otherwise.

We did the handles, light switches, sockets...never occurred to me to do the hinges TBH! Can't say I've ever noticed. Certainly no one has ever commented, but then we plan to "do" the house at some point and haven't been too much into the detail beyond an initial making-it-liveable effort.

If they are fire doors, they will be very heavy. Other modern doors are light enough to take iottitakettoitteladmO off and rehang fairly easily. Look for lift-off hinges which make it easy to take doors off in future for redecorating. I quite like stainless hinges.
